I've always been interested in military history and I have read many books on the subject. The following links take you to reviews of some of my favorite books on military history. John Keegan and Paddy Griffith Reviews of books by John Keegan (the Face of Battle, A History of Warfare) and Paddy Griffith (Forward Into Battle, Battle Tactics of the Civil War). Manstein, Creveld, Adan, and Senger. Reviews of books by Erich von Manstein, Martin van Creveld, Bren Adan, and Frido von Senger und Etterlin. Books on Tactics. This page talks about books which describe tactics. Good books about tactics are hard to find and that is why I put together this page. War games are a big part of any military education. I've played my share of war games, starting with a copy of "PanzerBlitz" that I bought at the age of 12. In this section I review some of the many games that I have played. I admit that some games have little relation to historical warfare.
